Back with another long-awaited blog entry! Here is yet another hair tutorial to achieve Alana's natural beach waves.
- Start off with your natural hair and brush out any tangles.
- Use either water or a detangler spray to dampen your hair slightly, unless you just got out of the shower.
- For this look, you can stick with your normal part, or if you don't already, part your hair down the center for an even more Alana-inspired look.
- Bring your hair around your shoulders, both sides about the same amount of hair.
- Then, on one side, starting at the very top, begin twisting the hair together, adding more hair as you go.
- Repeat with the opposite side.
- Take both twists and join them together under your chin, almost like a beard! (Tehe!) Secure with a hair elastic. Then, go down a few more inches, and secure with another hair elastic. Do this however many more times necessary until you reach the end of your hair.
- Sleep on this. When you wake up, remove the hair elastics and gently pull apart the twists.
- Shake out your hair a bit and you're done!
If you're having trouble visualizing this, check out the tutorial on YouTube where I got it from here. So there you go! Hope you enjoyed this method.
Cheers to bikinis and Alana Blanchard hair! xoxo
